In an interview with The Pivot Podcast on YouTube, former champion in five weight categories Floyd Mayweather confidently stated that he is still the number one boxer in the world:
"I'm still the face of boxing. I'm grateful to guys like Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, and Sugar Ray Leonard — so many people who paved the way for me.
But there's only one Floyd Mayweather. These fighters are not better than me," Mayweather said.
Throughout his professional career, Floyd Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) has not lost a single fight. His last bout was against Conor McGregor, where he won by unanimous decision.
Currently, Floyd participates exclusively in exhibition fights. The latest of these took place on June 11 against John Gotti III and ended in a mass brawl when, after the fight was stopped, John and his friends attacked Mayweather's team with punches.
