Insider Dan Rafael reports that the second fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is being lined up as an official bout. According to the information, the rematch is targeted for April 2026 in Las Vegas, USA.
The first meeting between Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) and Pacquiao (62-8-3, 39 KOs) took place in 2015, where Floyd claimed victory by unanimous decision.
The 48-year-old American has not competed in an official professional fight since August 2017, when he stopped Conor McGregor. However, he has taken part in multiple exhibition bouts since then. The 46-year-old Filipino last fought WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios — their contest ended in a draw.
Earlier, Pacquiao also confirmed that negotiations are ongoing for a bout against Vasiliy Lomachenko.
