Knockout Kings: Matias and Paro Clash for Super Lightweight Supremacy!

IBF super lightweight champ Subriel Matias (20-1, 20 KOs) is gearing up for a home turf defense in Puerto Rico. Liam Paro (24-0, 15 KOs) is topping the list of challengers.

Boxing Scene reports Paro has inked his part of the deal. Matias is almost in the ring with his agreement to the match terms laid out by the organizers. The final bell before the fight is the nod from Matias' corner, Fresh Productions, to lock in the bout with Paro's squad, Matchroom Boxing.

In his previous showdown, Matias cornered Shohjahon Ergashev (23-1, 20 KOs) of Uzbekistan, leading to Ergashev's corner throwing in the towel. This victory marked Subriel's fifth triumph by corner stoppage.

On the flip side, Paro's last dance was with Montana Love (18-2-1, 9 KOs). Liam sent the American packing in the 6th round with a knockout.
