Matias: "Teofimo is trash, Haney is a chicken, Romero is a joker"

IBF champion in the first super lightweight division (up to 63.5 kg), Subriel Matias, claimed to be the best boxer in the division, providing a characterization for each potential opponent:

"In reality, I am the best in the first super lightweight division. Not Teofimo. He's trash. Not Ryan. Who is Ryan anyway? Not Haney. He's a chicken. Not Rolly. He's a joker and overall the worst.

I'm here. Who wants to fight me? Who?" – said Matias on his Instagram page.

In his latest match at the end of November, Subriel defeated Shohjahon Ergashev. Matias has won five consecutive opponents by corner stoppage.
