WBC super lightweight champion Subriel Matias made a prediction for his upcoming fight against Dalton Smith, who holds the WBC Silver title. The confrontation will take place on January 10 in the USA.
“I think he will quit. I don't think the fight will last more than 10 rounds.
I don't think the fight will go the distance. He has the style and power to knock me out, and I can knock him out too, so the fight won't last that long,” Matias said.
Previously, Matias (23-2, 22 KOs) tested positive for a prohibited substance, and the fight was at risk of cancellation. However, Subriel was later cleared.
