Matchroom Signs Another Champion: Medina Joins the Company

The promotional company Matchroom Boxing has announced the signing of a deal with bantamweight boxer (up to 53.5 kg), 25-year-old Mexican Christian Medina Jimenez. He is the reigning WBO champion in this division.

Medina holds a record of 26-4, 19 KOs and has not lost since 2023. In 2025, Christian secured two stoppage victories: over Juan Ramirez Marquez in the 2nd round and Yoshiki Takei in the 4th round.

It was this second victory that made Medina a world champion.
