Manny Pacquiao announces return date to the ring

Former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, 46, has officially announced the date of his long-awaited ring return.

“Hello to all my boxing fans.

I’m happy to share that on January 24, I’ll be returning to the ring in Las Vegas. It’s going to be an exciting and special event. Stay tuned for more updates.

Further information about my opponent will be revealed in the coming days,” said Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao (62-8-3, 39 KOs) last fought on July 19, when he went to a draw against Mario Barrios.

Following that bout, Pacquiao announced that his promotional company would enter the U.S. market, and his team expressed interest in facing Rolando Romero, who holds the WBA welterweight title.
