Manager of Shakur Names Desired Opponents

The manager of American WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs), Josh Dubin, has revealed potential opponents for his client.

"There are three fights that Shakur wants: Vasyl Lomachenko, Gervonta Davis, and Denys Berinchyk. These are the fights he desires. He's been pleading for these fights, and Top Rank could arrange a fight with Berinchyk right now with the snap of a finger. Arum says that to have a big fight, you need someone who can fill the seats or draw viewers to the screens. Shakur is exactly that guy," Dubin said.

Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) is the IBF champion, Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) holds the WBA title, and Denys Berinchyk (19-0, 9 KOs) is the WBO champion. Shakur Stevenson became the WBC champion in November by unanimous decision over Edwin De Los Santos (16-2, 14 KOs). On July 6, the American will defend his title against Artem Harutyunyan (12-1, 7 KOs).
