"He’s Not What He Was Three Years Ago." Malik Scott Names the Favorite in a Potential Fury–Joshua Fight

Renowned American trainer Malik Scott shared his thoughts on a potential heavyweight showdown between British fighters Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs).

Although Fury is considered the favorite, Scott emphasized that Joshua knows how to come back from losses and could put up a fight against the Gypsy King.

"Of course, I’d love to see both of them in the ring at Wembley. If we look at their recent fights, I’d lean toward Tyson as the winner. But it all depends on which version of AJ we see.

I believe the outcome of fights depends on a boxer’s style. And Tyson is no longer what he was three years ago.

From my point of view, AJ didn’t perform his best against Dubois, but I’ve seen him come back from defeats and show an impressive level of boxing. The AJ who stepped into the ring against Pulev could cause problems for anyone," said Scott.

On December 21, Tyson Fury lost his rematch to Oleksandr Usyk. In September, Joshua was stopped by Daniel Dubois in the fifth round.
