Cuban boxer Luis Ortiz (34-3, 29 KOs) broke his long silence with a statement. He's ready to face the division's top fighters, but according to him, they're all turning him down.
"I'm training and feeling great. I wanted to fight any top heavyweight fighter, but the truth is, in the last 12 months, all the top fighters either said they were busy or wouldn't make enough money fighting me. I understand this because I know I'm no easy walk. But I definitely deserve respect as one of the top heavyweights, who still has a big name that fans love.
I won't name all the fighters I've challenged, but you know them. There are 6-7 top heavyweights right now, but I just wanted to let you know I'm available," Ortiz stated.
In January, Luis Ortiz knocked out Cordero in the first round in a bout that wasn't announced in advance. Before that, he fought in 2022, losing to Andy Ruiz by decision.
