Luis Ortiz Challenges Jared Anderson to a Fight

Cuban heavyweight boxer, 45-year-old Luis Ortiz (34-3, 29 KOs), has challenged 24-year-old American prospect Jared Anderson (17-0, 15 KOs) to a fight.

"Good evening. Bob Arum, if you really want to test Jared Anderson, give him to me. I guarantee it will be a great fight and a nightmare for Anderson. For Anderson and for you," Ortiz declared.

"Sold," Anderson responded to the video challenge.

Ortiz's last bout was in January 2024, where he knocked out Francisco Cordero (41-19, 32 KOs) in the first round. Jared Anderson's previous fight was on April 13th, where he won by decision against Riyad Merhi.

Later, Jared's promoter Bob Arum stated that they are looking for a boxer who will truly test the American.
