Lozan named reserve fighter for WBC Grand Prix final

Ukrainian super-lightweight contender Danylo Lozan has been appointed the reserve fighter for the WBC Grand Prix final.

In the decisive bout of his division, Mujibillo Tursunov of Uzbekistan will face Carlos Utria of Colombia. If either finalist is unable to compete, Lozan will step in as the replacement.

Danylo Lozan (15-1, 9 KO) previously faced Tursunov in the semifinal, losing by judges’ decision.

The WBC Grand Prix finals will take place on 20 December. More details regarding venue and schedule will be announced later.
