Renowned British boxing veteran Carl Froch is confident that WBC heavyweight titleholder Tyson Fury will beat WBA, WBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk eight times out of ten.
“No one is good enough to beat Tyson Fury. The tendril is good enough to handle anything. On his best night, Fury is on that list, but it would take Tyson having a really bad fight. Usyk needs to be phenomenal. He didn't have a strong finish in the Joshua fight, but Alexander turned around when he had a bad round, turned it around and did what he needed to do to win, but he's not a young guy anymore.
This is a 12-round fight. Tyson Fury will pile on him, keep him at a distance, throw punches. He will do what he always does.
I don't think Usyk is big enough for Tyson Fury. I think he can beat anyone. But I believe that if Usyk has ten fights with Fury, he will lose eight times. If this fight happens, and I hope it does, I think Fury will be the winner," said Froch in an interview with Boxing UK's YouTube channel.
