Vasiliy Lomachenko's manager, Egis Klimas, recently dished out the future fight plans for the ex-three-division world champ (17-3, 11 KOs). After a rough call by Nevada judges, Loma's taking a breather from the ring, putting fight talks on ice until year-end.
Klimas shared, "After the year wraps up, we'll jump back into the mix, scouting out lightweight options for Loma. Are we interested in a showdown with Kambosos? Absolutely, whether it's down under in Australia or maybe even Saudi Arabia. Boxing's full of curveballs, so we'll line up his next bout when Loma's ready to glove up."
Bob Arum's earlier buzz? He pegged Loma for a February title fight against George Kambosos, with a possible follow-up face-off against Shakur Stevenson on the cards.
