Former three-division world champion Vasyl Lomachenko has responded to accusations from current undisputed champion Devin Haney, who claimed Lomachenko avoided him. According to the Ukrainian boxer, he never evaded Haney, and now Devin has an excellent opportunity to prove that he is the best.
"Haney is the undisputed world champion. Now he is the real champion. Why is he talking about what happened four years ago? Will it be easier for him now than it was four years ago? We'll see," Lomachenko said in the documentary "Blood, Sweat & Tears: Haney vs Lomachenko."
He added, "He has a chance to prove what he says. No more words, only May 20."
The fight between Devin Haney and Vasyl Lomachenko is set to take place on May 20 in Las Vegas. Previously, Lomachenko's former opponent explained why he believes Lomachenko will defeat Haney.
