Lomachenko: I need a fight for the title of absolute world champion

Former three-division world champion Vassily Lomachenko has said he is looking forward to a fight with undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney.

“I am preparing for this moment. I need this chance, I need a fight for the title of absolute champion".

Lomachenko had his last fight in December last year, defeating Richard Commey by unanimous decision. Subsequently, Vasily could fight with George Kambosos, but refused it against the backdrop of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
