"A Bit Tired": Loma on Stare Down with Kambosos

Former three-division world champion Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) shared his thoughts on the lengthy stare down with his next opponent, former undisputed lightweight George Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs), which lasted more than three minutes.

"It's not the first time I've been involved in a long stare down. But it is what it is. He wants to play games—fine, I'm ready.

I got a bit tired of standing and looking into his eyes, but he kept looking at me, so I had to stay there too. I will start fighting from the beginning of the match and do what I always do—just box and show my best," said Lomachenko.

Vasyl Lomachenko and George Kambosos will meet on May 12th in Perth, Australia. The IBF and IBO lightweight titles (up to 135 lbs) will be on the line.
