Legendary boxer Lennox Lewis took to his Twitter account to voice his thoughts on the favorite of the upcoming bout for the title of the absolute world heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) between WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).
"It's hard to say. I would lean towards Fury, but I think that even now, Usyk is an underrated boxer. So, it will be interesting to see how Fury will cope with this," Lewis wrote.
The showdown between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is scheduled for May 18th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Currently, Lennox Lewis holds the distinction of being the last undisputed heavyweight champion. In 1999, he fought two bouts with Evander Holyfield. The first fight ended in a draw, while in the rematch, he emerged victorious by unanimous decision of the judges, capturing the WBC, WBA, IBO, and IBF belts.
