The last undisputed heavyweight world champion, Briton Lennox Lewis, stated that Wladimir Klitschko always approached his training with utmost professionalism. However, he explained why Klitschko lost to Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs).
"Klitschko was an unmatched athlete; he never underestimated any fighter.
It's just that he had never faced someone as mobile and tall as Fury. He only knew how to box from the position of a taller fighter. If you're not taller, you'd better change your strategy," Lewis said.
Wladimir Klitschko lost to Tyson Fury by unanimous decision in 2015. After that, Klitschko fought once more against Anthony Joshua, to whom he lost by technical knockout in the eleventh round.
