Lennox Lewis on Klitschko's Return: "They Have Bigger Problems Now"

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis shared his thoughts on the possibility of Ukrainian legend Wladimir Klitschko returning to the ring in a potential matchup against Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) or IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

Lewis also recalled sitting next to Klitschko during the WBC Congress, where Turki Alalsheikh, head of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, publicly urged Wladimir to return to professional boxing.

"They have bigger problems now. There's a war in their country, and they’re focused on that. I know this for sure. I don’t think he’ll come back.

"Wladimir was definitely nudging me to consider a return. He said, ‘I think Turki is talking about you, Lennox,’ and I replied, ‘No, I think he’s talking about you!’" Lewis said with a laugh.

As a reminder, during the 62nd WBC Congress, Wladimir Klitschko was presented with a commemorative belt by the organization.
