Lee McGregor Claims WBC International Featherweight Title

On December 21 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a British clash took place for the vacant WBC International featherweight title (up to 57.2 kg) between Isaac Lowe (25-3-3, 8 KOs) and Lee McGregor (15-1-1, 11 KOs).

McGregor emerged victorious via unanimous decision. The judges scored the fight 96-92 and 97-91 twice in favor of the Scottish fighter. Lowe's streak of four consecutive wins was brought to an end.

In May, Isaac Lowe secured a decision victory over Hassibullah Ahmadi. In October, Lee McGregor stopped Deiner Polo with a third-round TKO.
