Boxing Scene reports that the highly anticipated "The Last Crescendo" event, set for February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will take place in a smaller arena than originally planned.
The event, featuring Joseph Parker vs. Martin Bakole, Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol 2, and other major bouts, was initially scheduled for the 25,000-seat Kingdom Arena. However, organizers have relocated it to the Riyadh Arena, which has a capacity of 6,000 spectators.
The decision was made to create a more intense and electrifying atmosphere. Previous boxing events in Riyadh have been criticized for lacking energy, especially when compared to fights in the United States and the United Kingdom.
By choosing a more compact venue, organizers hope to deliver a truly memorable fight night experience.
