Lapin on Parker: “We Treat Him with Respect”

Serhii Lapin, CEO of three-time undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk’s team, spoke about the Ukrainian’s injury and their attitude toward official WBO challenger Joseph Parker.

“People can talk about Usyk’s injury, but those close to boxing know the price of preparing at this level. We don’t make decisions for the sake of talk, we make them for the sake of results.

The WBO has sanctioned a fight between Usyk and Parker, but no agreements have been finalized. Usyk’s team has requested more time to negotiate with Joseph Parker.
