Pulev vs Gassiev Officially Announced

IBA Pro has officially announced that WBA Regular Heavyweight Champion Kubrat Pulev will face former Cruiserweight World Champion Murat Gassiev on December 12 in Dubai.

Earlier, the WBA had ordered negotiations between Pulev and the organization’s top-ranked contender, Moses Itauma. However, Gassiev currently holds the No. 12 spot in the same heavyweight rankings.

Pulev (32-3, 14 KOs) last fought in 2024, when he captured the WBA Regular title with a victory over Mahmoud Charr. Gassiev (32-2, 25 KOs) most recently fought in 2025, defeating American Jeremiah Milton.
