Krassyuk Evaluates the Chances of an Usyk vs. Klitschko Fight

K2 Promotions head Alexander Krassyuk has commented on the possibility of a fight between reigning WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and former unified champion Wladimir Klitschko.

“A fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Usyk is impossible—the chances are not just zero, but less than zero. Let me tell you something about Wladimir. I know this man very well. I just spoke with him, and you know what? He’s like a 25-year-old kid. He hasn’t missed a single training session since 2017. Well, that’s not entirely true—he missed three when the war started.

He looks phenomenal and carries this idea deep in his heart—to finish what he started. But his business partner (Usyk) has already finished it for him. If he wants to return, it would only be for one reason—to become the oldest heavyweight champion in history. I will support this man in whatever he chooses to do,” Krassyuk said.

Previously, Turki Alalshikh expressed interest in organizing a rematch between Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury or a fight between Klitschko and IBF titleholder Daniel Dubois.
