Krasyuk named the date of the Usyk-Fury fight

Oleksandr Krasiuk, the promoter of WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), talked about a possible date for a fight with WBC champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs).

"We now have working dates. This is the period from February 18 to March 4. It's three weekends. February 18, 25 and March 4. A match could take place on any of these Saturdays. The 18th is currently the working date, but we will be firm after the December 3rd Fury vs. Derek Chisora ​​fight."

The manager of the Ukrainian, Egis Klimas, also announced that the fight between Usyk and Fury is planned to be held no earlier than February 18 and no later than March 4, 2023.

Earlier, Klimas said that on the part of Usyk's team, everything is ready for the signing of the contract for the fight. According to the manager, only Tyson Fury remains to be approved.

Promoter Frank Warren said that the Ukrainian will be Fury's next opponent after the Briton's fight with Derek Chisora, which is scheduled for December 3. Tyson himself said that he will have three fights in 2023, one of them with Usyk.
