Krassyuk: “I’ll Do Everything Possible to Convince Usyk to Retire”

Former promoter Alex Krassyuk says undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has already achieved everything there is to achieve and should step away while on top.

“I don’t see him entering the ring again—at least not in boxing. He has proved it all; there’s nothing more to accomplish.

Of course, there will be nobodies pressuring him to return, but as a friend I will do everything I can to convince him to finish his career,” Krassyuk said.

On 19 July, Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) knocked out Daniel Dubois in the fifth round to become undisputed world champion for the third time. (Full fight stats available via the link.)
