Alexander Krassyuk, promoter of Ukrainian heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), who holds the WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO titles, has reacted to the official announcement of the rematch between his fighter and IBF champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).
“Finally, it’s happening. All questions will be answered on July 19 at Wembley,” - Krassyuk wrote.
The highly anticipated rematch between Usyk and Dubois is set for July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom, with the undisputed heavyweight championship at stake (over 90.7 kg).
In their first encounter, which took place in August 2023, Usyk stopped Dubois with a ninth-round knockout.
Later, in December, Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by unanimous decision in their historic bout.
Earlier this year, Daniel Dubois was scheduled to defend his title against Joseph Parker, but was forced to withdraw due to illness.
