Krassyuk on When Usyk vs. Fury 2 Could Theoretically Happen

In an interview with worldboxingnews.net, the CEO of K2 Promotions and CBDO of Ready To Fight, Alexander Krassyuk, shared his thoughts on the upcoming bout for the undisputed heavyweight world title (over 90.7 kg) between the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF titles Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs).

"There's no guarantee the fight with Fury will ever happen. He has dodged it four times in a row. We even decided to stop all jokes and criticism of Luke (referring to Tyson Luke Fury) to support his confidence. So, if there's anything more we can do to help him get in the ring with Usyk, we are ready.

Theoretically, the rematch should take place by the end of 2024. However, we all know that Tyson is not the best 'rematcher' in the world. And after he loses to Usyk in the first fight, predicting his next moves is even more difficult.

Usyk's goal is to obtain the fourth belt in the heavyweight division and complete the mission of achieving the status of the undisputed champion. After completing this mission, other options can be considered," said Krassyuk.

The fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is scheduled for May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
