Head of K2 Promotions and CBDO RTFight, Alexander Krassyuk, reacted to WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) shoving WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) after the final weigh-in.
«That guy pushed Usyk, that’s what I saw. Then his team started shouting something: ‘Let the fighters do their job,’ because I started saying, ‘Tyson, please, behave yourself.’ Maybe a bit more emotionally, but that’s how it was.
Usyk said that Sergey had warned him before coming out to be careful because Tyson might push him. There’s no need to prove who’s the best. We know who’s the best. We just need to go through all the procedures,» said Krassyuk.
The Usyk-Fury fight will take place on May 18 in Saudi Arabia.
