Former promoter of the undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, Alexander Krassyuk weighed in on the Ukrainian’s potential next opponent:
“It all depends on the goal—what you’re aiming for.
If you want to earn money, then Jake Paul is probably the best choice: minimal risk, a huge audience, and crazy profit.
But if you want to prove something to yourself or to others, then probably Tyson Fury. To be honest, though, deep down I don’t believe that fight will ever happen,” Krassyuk said.
On 19 July Oleksandr Usyk (24‑0, 15 KOs) knocked out Daniel Dubois (22‑3, 21 KOs) in round five to claim the undisputed heavyweight crown (over 90.7 kg). After the bout Usyk shared an intense stare‑down with Jake Paul (12‑1, 7 KOs).
