Krassyuk Explains Why Usyk Can't Fight in Ukraine

Alex Krassyuk, the promoter for WBA, WBO, and IBF super heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, has revealed that his fighter is currently unable to compete in Ukraine.

The expert explained that due to the ongoing conflict with russia, it is not safe for the Ukrainian athlete to participate in fights within the country.

Discussing the possibility of organizing a bout for Usyk at the Olympic Stadium, Krassyuk said in an interview with the Bokserorg YouTube channel, "It would be extremely dangerous, as the event cannot be hidden or kept secret. It has to be public. Our adversaries would seize this opportunity to sabotage the event and cause destruction, which they consistently do."

Красюк: «Усик молился, чтобы ему не пришлось стрелять. Однако все мы знали, что в случае необходимости никто не будет колебаться» | Бокс | XSPORT.ua
