Krassyuk Confirms Oleksandr Usyk Will Attend Joshua vs. Dubois Fight

On September 21, a major boxing event will take place at Wembley Stadium in London, UK, headlined by the bout between British heavyweights Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) and IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs).

The iconic venue is expected to set a new attendance record, with a large number of stars in attendance. Among them will be two-time undisputed world champion and former opponent of both Joshua and Dubois, Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs).

Usyk’s promoter, and CBDO of Ready to Fight, Alexander Krassyuk, confirmed the news during an interview with Sky Sports. Earlier, Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas had also mentioned the Ukrainian champion's attendance at the fight.

Usyk previously faced Anthony Joshua in September 2021 and August 2022, winning both bouts by decision. In August 2023, Usyk fought Daniel Dubois, securing a knockout victory in the 9th round.

The winner of the Joshua vs. Dubois bout will likely be in contention to face the victor of the Usyk vs. Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) rematch, which is scheduled for December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
