Krassyuk: We are on the way to signing Fury

Oleksandr Krassyuk, the promoter of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO super heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), said that all questions regarding the fight for the absolute world champion title with the WBC belt holder Tyson Fury (33-0 - 1, 24 KO) have been settled, and the Ukrainian side is waiting for the documents to be signed.

"Probably, the contract is already ready, but we haven't received the documents yet. But we are on the way to signing," said the promoter.

Earlier, Krassyuk said that the most effective working date for the match would be March 4. An option for a rematch may also be included in the fight contract.

Earlier, promoter Frank Warren said that in case of failure to organize a fight for the title of absolute world champion, the Ukrainian should defend against Daniel Dubois. The head of Top Rank, Bob Arum, said that Hrgovych will not interfere with the unification fight between Usyk and Fury, as Usyk's next title defense should take place on the WBA line.
