Polish heavyweight boxer Adam Kownacki (20-5, 15 KOs) faced his fifth consecutive defeat. This time in Koszalin, Poland, he went up against Kacper Meyna (12-1, 8 KOs), and the bout was over in seconds.
At the 45-second mark of the first round, Kownacki was overwhelmed by a heavy and prolonged flurry of headshots. The referee stopped the fight – TKO in round 1.
Kownacki's last victory came in August 2019 when he defeated Chris Arreola by a decision. Following that, he suffered five straight defeats – twice to Robert Helenius, and once each to Ali Eren Demirezen and Joe Cusumano.
