Khan Shared What Would Make Usyk vs. Fury Rematch Even Bigger

Former world champion and Ready To Fight ambassador Amir Khan commented on the heavyweight unification bout between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Briton Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).

«It was a close, very close fight. Many are saying the bout should have been stopped after the knockdown because Tyson took a lot of punches in the ninth round. But he recovered quickly. I was amazed at how quickly Fury recovered. He did it very quickly and started boxing again.

I believe that at the end of the fight, he was winning rounds. This shows what kind of fighter Tyson is. Even though he lost the fight, it was close. In my opinion, it could have ended in a good draw, which would have made their second fight even bigger,» said Khan.

The bout between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury lasted all 12 rounds and ended with Usyk winning by a split decision. In the 9th round, after an extended attack by the Ukrainian, the referee counted a knockdown for Tyson.
