In an interview with the YouTube channel All Out Fighting, former world champion Amir Khan picked his favorite in the upcoming fight for the title of the undisputed world heavyweight champion (over 200 lbs) between WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).
"I've always had a preference for my friend Tyson. I think Tyson is the better fighter, he has better skills, and in my opinion, he's bigger and stronger. Fury has won against bigger heavyweights.
Undoubtedly, everyone is leaning towards Tyson's victory because he is the reigning lineal world heavyweight champion. But, as I've said, Usyk can cause a lot of trouble with his style. He's a very unorthodox fighter, very hard to hit. I prefer Fury, but what a fight it will be," Khan said.
The fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is scheduled for May 18th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This bout will determine the division's first undisputed champion since 1999.
