American lightweight prospect (up to 61.2 kg) Keyshawn Davis (10-0, 7 KOs) has challenged WBO super lightweight (up to 63.5 kg) champion Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs).
"I think he should fight me in his next bout. Me against Teofimo Lopez, we could have a fight at Madison Square Garden and sell all the tickets, but he chose to fight Claggett in a bar. Tell Teo to show some guts and fight me," Davis told Fight Hub TV.
Keyshawn already challenged Lopez in February when they fought on the same card in Las Vegas. On June 29, Teofimo Lopez won a unanimous decision against Steve Claggett (38-8-2, 26 KOs) to defend his WBO title. Keyshawn Davis will face Miguel Madueno (31-2, 28 KOs) on July 6.
