Karen Chukhadzhyan is the New IBF International Champion

October 28 in Munich, Germany, saw a fight for the IBF International welterweight title (up to 66.7 kg) took place between 27-year-old Ukrainian Karen Chukhadzhyan (22-2, 12 KOs) and 25-year-old Italian Pietro Rossetti (18 -1 , 8 KO).

In the 9th round, the fight ended in a technical knockout in favor of Chukhadzhyan. The referee stopped the confrontation due to a cut on the Ukrainian opponent.

Chukhadzhyan is currently ranked twelfth in the IBF rankings. The belt of the full-fledged world champion is held by Terence Crawford, the “temporary” one is held by Jaron Ennis.
