Karen Chukhadzhian to Fight for WBO International Title on May 10

On May 10, at Stadthalle Arena in Rostock, Germany, Ukrainian welterweight Karen Chukhadzhian (24–3, 13 KOs) will face Argentina’s Cristian Javier Ayala (13–2–1, 4 KOs) in a 10-round bout.

The fight will be contested for the WBO International welterweight title (limit: 66.7 kg) and will be broadcast live on PunchZone.

Chukhadzhian last fought in November, dropping a unanimous decision to IBF world champion Jaron Ennis.

Ayala’s most recent appearance was in August, when he scored a unanimous decision victory over Guido Romero.
