Ukrainian welterweight Karen Chukhadzhian (24-3, 13 KOs) will return to the ring on May 10.
According to his coach, Vyacheslav Senchenko, the bout will take place in Germany against an opponent from Argentina, with a title on the line.
“Yes, we’ve got both the opponent and the date, but nothing has been officially announced yet. What I can say is that Karen will fight for a belt against an Argentine boxer on May 10 in Rostock, Germany. An official announcement is coming soon.
Karen is currently getting back into shape, training hard. We’ve already been sparring for two weeks here in Kyiv. The second phase of camp, we plan to move to Germany around April 19 or 20,” Senchenko said.
Karen Chukhadzhian last fought in November, when he dropped a unanimous decision to WBA and IBF champion Jaron Ennis.
