Kambosos: "This Was My Best Camp Ever"

On May 12 in Perth, Australia, local IBO lightweight world champion George Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs) will face Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs). In an interview with local media, Kambosos discussed his preparations for the fight, which will also contest the vacant IBF title.

"The camp went well. Very well. It was very structured, disciplined, and involved a lot of hard work. I couldn't relax even a little bit. I went through the entire camp flawlessly, without a single mistake. This was my best camp ever. I know many fighters say that, but it was truly amazing. See for yourselves on May 12.

Having the fight in Australia means a lot to me. I can't give less than 110% in this fight. My discipline, the structure of the work, and the hard labor will ensure that. We had the right sparring partners from all around the world. Everything necessary for my recovery was also done. It was a fantastic camp," said Kambosos.
