Interim WBC heavyweight champion Agit Kabayel shared his thoughts on a possible fight against undisputed division champion Oleksandr Usyk in the summer of 2026.
“Why not? I have huge support in Germany, and there are plenty of Ukrainians here as well. That fight easily fills a stadium. My last performance was very successful. If Usyk agrees — I’m ready,” Kabayel said.
On January 10, Agit Kabayel (26-0, 18 KOs) will face Damian Knyba.
In July, Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) defeated Daniel Dubois by knockout in the fifth round in their rematch, reclaiming the status of undisputed heavyweight champion for the third time in his career.
