Juan Manuel Márquez Names the P4P Leader

Former four-division world champion Juan Manuel Márquez has named his top three pound-for-pound boxers, regardless of weight class.

– When you assess Crawford’s accomplishments, do you consider him a Hall of Fame-worthy fighter? How do you rate his level?

– I think he’s an excellent fighter right now. But for me, the Japanese boxer Inoue is number one in the P4P rankings, Terence Crawford is number two, and Oleksandr Usyk is number three. That’s my opinion.

Juan Manuel Márquez officially retired in August 2017, though he hadn’t fought since 2014. The Mexican’s overall record stands at 56 wins (40 by knockout), 7 losses, and 1 draw.
