Joe Joyce, the interim WBO titleholder in boxing, is advocating for an agreement between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury to arrange a fight. Joyce expressed his desire to witness the two boxers battle it out.
"I still hope that the fight between Usyk and Fury will take place. This is a fight for all the super heavyweight titles, when will that happen again? They have to fight, this fight has to happen. Guys, can you still agree? I thought that everything was normal, what happened suddenly?".
"Everybody wants this fight, everybody wants to see a boxer who has collected four division titles, because that has never been done in history," Joyce said.
In the event that an agreement is not reached, Oleksandr Usyk would be obliged to have a mandatory defense against Daniel Dubois.
