Joyce Doubts Joshua's Holding Power Against Ngannou

British heavyweight boxer Joe Joyce (15-2, 14 KOs) shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) and Francis Ngannou (0-1).

"Since he's an MMA fighter and wasn't focused on boxing, he was a bit more open and I could see where his shots were coming from. But those powerful shots were still whizzing past my abs and chin.

But we had really good sparring, and I have a lot of respect for Ngannou.

If he lands one of those strong shots that hit Fury, I don't think Joshua will be able to get up after that.

Probably, Joshua will act cunningly. I think it's going to be a good fight. In this confrontation, both have power. I think it's a great fight.

Ngannou boxed very well with Fury. It's a great story. He reached all heights in UFC and then challenged perhaps the best boxer in Tyson and put up a worthy resistance. He kind of got a wild card," said Joyce.

The fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou will take place on March 8th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Joe Joyce will face Kash Ali (21-2, 12 KOs) on March 16th.
