Joshua's Future to Become Clearer on May 18

Promoter of the former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs), Eddie Hearn, has shared when it will become clear what his client can expect in his next fight.

"Joshua truly wants to stay active, but at the same time, he has fought four times in 11 months. So, at some point, if you return to the gym too quickly, the body begins to break down, and you start to pick up minor injuries. He fought two rounds against Ngannou, but he had a long camp. We will sit down with Freddie Cunningham, AJ, the team, and plan what's next. I don't see him fighting before the end of July. Consequently, he will fight in July-August, then again in November-December. I think May 18 will tell us a lot about Anthony Joshua's plans," Hearn said.

On May 18, there will be a fight for the undisputed championship between Usyk and Fury. Hearn hopes there will be no rematch and Joshua will be able to meet the winner.
