Ex-world champion in super heavyweight Anthony Joshua will hold his next fight in the spring of 2023.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed that official information on Anthony's opponent will be available in the near future. The fight is tentatively planned for the end of March or the beginning of April 2023.
In August, Joshua lost a split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk.
It was reported that AJ wants to get in the ring in his next fight with Dillian Whyte. The fight could take place if White wins against Jermaine Franklin.
Anthony has been in talks with WBC champion Tyson Fury about holding a fight at the end of 2022. However, the parties could not agree on the final details of the contract, after which Joshua postponed his return to the ring until next year. At the same time, AJ is sure that the fight with Fury will be held.
Earlier, the Briton planned to hold his next fight on December 17. Otto Wallin and Chris Arreola were mentioned as potential opponents.
