During a DAZN Boxing broadcast, British heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) representative Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF titles Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).
"I don't want to talk about it, but I understand that people will keep asking me about this fight.
I don't want to come off as a Fury hater, but I don't have much respect for what he says. He talks a lot, so I want his jaw broken in this fight," said Joshua.
On March 8th, Anthony Joshua will box for the first time in 2024 – against Francis Ngannou (0-1). Last year, Anthony entered the ring three times and secured three victories: a unanimous decision against Jermaine Franklin Jr. (22-2, 14 KOs), a knockout against Robert Helenius (32-5, 21 KOs), and a win against Otto Wallin (26-2, 14 KOs) after the Swede withdrew from the fight.
The fight for the undisputed world heavyweight title between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is scheduled for May 18th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
