Joshua vs. Haye: Malinaggi Picks the Winner

Former world champion Paulie Malignaggi believes that former сruiserweight (up to 90.7 kg) and heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) champion David Haye would have no chance against Anthony Joshua.

"Haye was an enigma. On one hand, you might think he could beat Joshua. If you think about it, it's David, he probably would find a way to show up in this fight.

I'm not diminishing Haye's accomplishments; he was a great cruiserweight, but I pick AJ. Joshua would prove too tough for David," said Malignaggi.

Haye boxed in the heavyweight division from 2008 to 2018 with a 4-year hiatus. In 2009, he defeated Nikolai Valuev to become the WBA champion. He then defeated former champion John Ruiz before losing the title in a unification bout against Wladimir Klitschko. After a subsequent knockout victory over Derek Chisora, Haye took a four-year break. Upon his return, he knocked out three opponents before losing twice to Tony Bellew.

Anthony Joshua will face Francis Ngannu on March 8th.
